ADITYA NARAYAN

Aditya Narayan is a Bollywood singer, dancer and actor. He was born on August 6, 1987. He is the son of Deepa Narayan and the popular Bollywood playback singer, Udit Narayan. Aditya started his mucial career at the age of 5. He has just completed a diploma in English Contemporary Music from London and earlier learnt Indian classical music from Pandit Satyanarayan Mishra. He also trained under Kalyanji Anandji.
He is one of the youngest anchors on Indian Television. He mad
e his debut in playback singing with Asha Bhosale in 1995 in the blockbuster movie ‘Rangeela’ which initially brought him to fame with the Indian audience. He later went on to act in films like ‘Pardes’ and ‘Jab Pyar Kissi Se Hota Hai’ as a child artist. He not only wants to be trained in Indian or classical music but also wants to learn international music in a truly international way. He won the Best Child Playback Singer award for the movie “Masoom”.

HIMESH RESHAMMIYA



Himesh started his career with a production house which aired quite a few TV soaps on Doordarshan Ahmedabad and Zee TV. Early in his career, he received critical acclaim for his musical scores, although the films associated with them were not popular at the box office. His first film as music director was Bandhan (1998), a collaboration with Anand Raj Anand. Although it was not the first film, he continues to credit it as the first.

His work began to get noticed with the film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998). He became good friends with Salman Khan, and composed songs for many Salman starers. Reshammiya soon developed his own unique style of composition, based on pop music and catchy techno beats. He also places a particular emphasis on melodic hooks to his songs. His most popular albums to date are Tere Naam and Aashiq Banaya Aapne. With a series of popular film scores, he is considered one of the best upcoming music composers in Indian cinema today. His music is associated with the youthful culture that has recently been pervasive in India, but he has also shown versatility, focusing on a more classical style for films such as Banaras: A Mystic Love Story and semi-classical like Tere Naam. With almost 30-35 films in the working, Himesh has been advised to cut down on his work. In 2006, Himesh had well over 36 hit tracks in a single calendar year.

Himesh was the first Indian to perform at the Webley Arena, London. Apart from the typical Bollywood style, he has composed music in classical, semi-classical, fusion and heavy metal styles too! He only prefers Sameer as his lyricist.
Primarily a music director, Himesh later became popular for his vocals which have the distinctive high-pitched nasal twang. Reshammiya, like many of his contemporary music composers, sings several of the songs that he composes. However, he has had unprecedented success in this regard. He won a Filmfare Award in 2005 for Best Male Playback Singer (for the title song of Aashiq Banaya Aapne), becoming the first music composer to achieve this feat.


AADESH SHRIVASTAVA



The young and dynamic Music Director, Aadesh Srivastava started his career in 1990 with his first musical Debut “Sailaab” alongside renowned music director Bhappi Lahiri. But his first big break as Music Director came with the 1994 film “Aao Pyar Karen” with his hit number “Haathon mein aa gaya jo kal”.

An Expert on a variety of musical instruments Aadesh had some near hits and misses in his musical careers.
In his career he has given some chart topping number like “Kya ada kya jalwe tere Paro”. “Shava Shava” (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham), “Chali Chali Phir Chali Chali” and “Merii Makhanaa Merii Soniye” (Baghban). Surpringly, most of the films to his credit are Amitabh Bachchan starrer.

SHANKAR MAHADEVAN



Shankar Mahadevan is an Indian singer and music composer. He is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood films. He learned Indian Classical Music and Carnatic music in his childhood and started playing Veena at the age of five. Though a software engineer by profession and having worked for Oracle Corporation, Shankar's interest in music made him venture into the field of music. He got his first break as a playback singer in a Bollywood movie. He later rose to stardom by releasing his first music album called Breathless. He later got into music direction and became a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio, composing music for Bollywood films.

PRITAM CHAKRABRTY



Pritam Chakraborty is a music composer from India who is presently based out of Mumbai. Pritam gained his early training in music from his father and learned to play the guitar while still in school. He also learned African music from musicologist Kedar Avati. Pritam got his first break when Gadhvi was signed on to direct Tere Liye and he, in turn, signed on his friends Jeet and Pritam as music composers.

Though the music was well received, the film sank at the box office. However, in 2002 Yashraj Films signed Gadhvi up to direct Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, for which the Jeet-Pritam duo once again composed the music. All the songs from that movie were chartbusters, and the duo had hit the big time. Pritam followed up the success of Dhoom with a string of chartbusting numbers after a year for Chocolate, Garam Masala and Gangster. Also he composed the music for Dhoom 2, the sequel to Dhoom. Most recently he composed the music for Life in a Metro and formed a Band named Metro.
